The delightful flavour of vanilla is at the heart of a wide variety of baking and sweet cooking and is even becoming popular as an addition to savoury cooking.  It is a delicate and very important ingredient.

Select Vanilla Pods are carefully selected from the finest succulent pods of the Indian Ocean Island region.  Vanilla pods are the fruit of the orchid, used for centuries in many culinary applications.

Our superior pods are carefully picked by hand when they are at their most succulent and moist to ensure they retain and deliver the finest aromatic vanilla taste to baking and desserts.

The richest flavour is derived from the longest pods and each pod is selected for its size and natural oil content.

Our very special vanilla pods are perfect for use in recipes where an 'infusion' is required and can be used to flavour sugar, syrups, creams, sauces, custards and ice-creams.  The finished dish will be enhanced with tiny black vanilla seeds from the pod.

Each pack contains 2 vanilla pods.
