New York Style Baked Cheesecake Dessert Mix
Our New York Style Baked Cheesecake Dessert Mix is the perfect solution for a variety of occasions. The cheesecake is slowly baked in the oven for a dense, but deliciously creamy topping on a crunchy biscuit crumb base.
This dessert mix even comes with a cardboard baking tray to make it in, which means there is no need to scramble around for the right size baking tin and you can still make it if you haven’t got one!
Additions:
• 150g melted butter
• 400g of medium fat soft cheese
• 1 egg
How long does it take...?
• Prepare – 10 minutes
• Cook – 2 hours 40 minutes (2 hours resting in a turned off oven!)
• Refrigerate – 3 hours
Why not make it the day before all ready just to pull out of the fridge after dinner the next day!
What to do...
1. Prepare the base by mixing part of the melted butter and the biscuit crumb provided, press into the baking tray provided – bake in the oven for 5 minutes then leave to cool.
2. Combine the topping mix with the egg, soft cheese and rest of the melted butter – Pour over the cooled base.
3. Bake in the oven for 10 minutes at a high temperature then bake for a further 15-20 minutes on a lower temperature.
4. Once cooked leave in the oven to cool down for 2 hours and then place in the fridge to refrigerate for 3 hours.
