For the recipe Unicorn and Dino Chocolate Cornflakes Cakes
|75 g||Unsalted Butter|
|about 30 ml||Golden Syrup|
|200 g||Dr. Oetker 35% Milk Chocolate|
|5 ml||Dr. Oetker Madagascan Vanilla Extract (1 tsp)|
|1 pack||Dr. Oetker Wafer Dinosaurs|
|1 pack||Dr. Oetker Wafer Unicorns|
|1 pack||Dr. Oetker Unicorn Head Sprinkles|
|1 pack||Dr. Oetker Dino Head Sprinkles|
Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat. Add the golden syrup stirring constantly until mixed. Add the Milk Chocolate and stir until the Chocolate has melted.
Remove from the heat add the cornflakes to the chocolatey mixture and stir to coat all the cornflakes.
Place the Fairy Cake cases into a bun tray and fill each case with the cornflake mixture.
Place the Wafer Unicorns and Dino in the top of the cornflake cake and sprinkle the Unicorn and Dino Sprinkles over the top of each cornflake cake.
Place your cornflake cakes into the fridge and allow to set of about 2 hours before serving.
1 serving = 23g
Replace the Milk Chocolate with White Chocolate and follow the method, do not add the butter into the mixture as it will cause the white chocolate to seize.
