Easy Rum and Raisin Truffles

These delicious Rum and Raisin Truffles are perfect for a dinner party, or as a personal gift.

For the recipe  Easy Rum and Raisin Truffles

For the Truffles:

100 g Dr. Oetker Dark Chocolate Chips
250 g Chocolate Cake (9 oz) un-iced, crumbled
30 ml Dark Rum (2 tbsp)
50 g Raisins (2 oz) seedless
Dr. Oetker Chocolatey Strands




Easy Rum and Raisin Truffles

Melt the Chocolate Chips according to the pack instructions.


Stir in the cake crumbs, rum and raisins. Mix well to form a ball and allow to cool. Wrap and chill for 30 minutes.


Form the chilled mixture into 16 small balls. Sprinkle the Chocolate Strands on a small plate and roll the truffles in the strands to coat them evenly.


Place each truffle in a petit four case and arrange in a small gift box. Keep in the fridge until ready to serve.
