For the recipe  French Toast

For the Toast:

4 slice Thick White Bread
3 Large Eggs
100 ml Whole Milk
10 ml Dr. Oetker Madagascan Vanilla Extract (2 tsp)
about 15 ml Vegetable Oil (1 tbsp)

For The Topping:

about 50 g Fresh Mixed Berries
about 50 g Dr. Oetker Milk Chocolate Jumbo Chips
about 5 g Icing Sugar (1 tsp)
about 15 ml Maple Syrup (1 tbsp)

For the Toast

Step 1: Whisk together the eggs, milk and Vanilla Extract in a bowl.

Step 2: Place 2 slices of bread in a shallow dish, pour half of the egg mixture over the top, leave the bread to soak for about a minute and then turn over to soak on the other side.

Step 3: Whilst the bread is soaking place the oil in a non-stick frying pan and heat over a medium heat, until the oil is bubbling. Place the soaked bread into the hot frying pan, be careful as the oil can splatter. Cook on each side for 2-3 minutes until the bread is golden. Whilst the bread is cooking, soak the remaining bread as above.

Step 4: Place the cooked bread onto a baking tray and place in a warm oven and cook the remaining slices of bread.

To Serve

Step 5: Place a couple of slices of bread onto a plate. Place the berries and Chocolate Chips on top of the bread, dust with icing sugar and drizzle with maple syrup. Your French toast is ready to serve!
