Accessibility Statement
Despite our efforts to ensure the accessibility of this website, there may still be some limitations. Below you will find information about the measures we take, our current level of compliance, known accessibility issues, and how to contact us if you encounter a problem.
Measures to Support Accessibility
Dr. August Oetker Nahrungsmittel KG is committed to making its website accessible in accordance with Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the national legislation based upon it.
To support accessibility, we:
Comply with relevant accessibility standards.
Incorporate accessibility considerations into our internal policies.
Compliance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) set out requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA and Level AAA.
This website is partially compliant with EN 301 549, which closely follows WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partial compliance means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the accessibility standard.
Limitations and Alternatives
Although we strive to make the website accessible, some limitations may still exist. If you encounter an accessibility issue that is not listed below, please contact us.
Known Issues
Due to ongoing product improvements and user interface updates, certain elements of the website may temporarily present accessibility challenges. Examples include:
Some decorative images do not have alternative text attributes.
Pagination links may not be sufficiently descriptive for screen-reader users.
Some icons do not have text alternatives.
Some tooltips do not provide meaningful information.
Keyboard navigation may be partially restricted in certain areas.
The close-button icon may not have an accessible name.
Because the website is continually updated and improved, it cannot be guaranteed that every element will always meet all accessibility requirements. When Dr. Oetker identifies an accessibility issue, steps are taken to resolve it as quickly as possible.
