For the Loaf Cake
175 gPlain Flour
2 gDr. Oetker Baking Powder tbsp
100 gGround Almonds
175 gCaster Sugar
3Large Eggs
200 mlVegetable Oil
100 mlMilk
5 mlDr. Oetker Valencian Orange Extract (1tsp)
For the Topping
300 gDr. Oetker Vanilla Buttercream Style Icing
1 mlOrange Zest (1 orange)
100 gChopped Almonds

Add the dry ingredients to the bowl and mix thoroughly

Add the wet ingredients directly into the bowl and whisk together

Pour your mixture into a pre-lined loaf tin

Bake at 160 for 1 hour until the top is golden and you can use a toothpick to check it comes out clean

Allow to cool completely before decorating

To decorate your loaf, thoroughly mix the buttercream with the zest of one orange on a micro plate

Gently spread over the icing and then sprinkle with chopped almonds and rose petals. Your loaf cake is ready to eat!
