For the Cakes
75 gUnsalted butter
about 30 mlGolden Syrup
200 gDr. Oetker 35% Milk Chocolate
150 gCornflakes
To Decorate

Chocolate Cornflakes Cakes

Melt the butter in a saucepan over a low heat. Add the golden syrup stirring constantly until mixed. Add the Milk Chocolate and stir until the Chocolate has melted.

Remove from the heat add the cornflakes to the chocolatey mixture and stir to coat all the cornflakes.

Place the Fairy Cake cases into a bun tray and fill each case with the cornflake mixture.

Place the Wafer Unicorns and Dino in the top of the cornflake cake and sprinkle the Unicorn and Dino Sprinkles over the top of each cornflake cake.

Place your cornflake cakes into the fridge and allow to set of about 2 hours before serving.

Tips

  • Replace the Milk Chocolate with White Chocolate and follow the method, do not add the butter into the mixture as it will cause the white chocolate to seize.
