Soft Fondant White Icing Ready Rolled

Covering your cake made quick and simple: Our Dr. Oetker Ready Rolled Fondant Icing can just be unrolled and placed straight onto your cake for a beautiful finish with no fuss and no mess.  Perfect for making home made fruit cakes and wedding cakes look complete and professional.

Each 450g pack is carefully wrapped in foil to maintain freshness and contains enough icing to cover a 20cm (8inch) round cake or 18cm (7inch) square cake.

Allergy Advice

May Contain Almonds.

  1. To cover a cake: spread a thin layer of smooth apricot jam or buttercream on the cake.
  2. To cover a layer of marzipan: brush the marzipan with water.
  3. Carefully unroll: ensure the icing is at room temperature, to prevent cracking. Carefully and slowly unroll the icing.
  4. Drape over cake: lift the plastic sheet and drape over your cake, icing side down. Gently peel away the platic sheet.
  5. Smooth down: smooth the icing over the cake from the top to the edges and down the sides. Trim away any excess icing with a sharp knife.
  6. For a perfect finish: polish the icing using the the palm of your hand to create a sheen on the surface.
