
Bake the Chocolate Monster Mix sponge as per packet instructions.
In a bowl pop in the butter, the icing sugar from the packet, the icing sugar, and the vanilla. Beat until combined. Split into three bowls and add 4-6 drops of green food gel into one. 4-6 drops of orange food gel into the second and then 4-6 purple food gel into the third. Pop the buttercream into 3 piping bags all fitted with a different shaped nozzle.
Time to get creative. Pipe all different pattens over the top of the cake.
Decorate with the edible eyes from the packet, the Halloween Sprinkles, and the Halloween placements.
