First, we need to make up our pancake batter. Make the pancake mix as the pack instructions says. Then stir in 4 tsp of slimy green food colour gel until it is super green.
And now for the second pancake mix. Repeat Step 1 and then stir in 4 teaspoons of purple food gel until the mixture transforms to a shade of spooky purple.
Heat up your frying pan until it’s sizzling hot, then brush it with a little oil. Drop in 4 big spoonful's of batter. Cook for about 2 minutes, watching as spooky bubbles rise to the surface.
Turn the pancakes over and cook for another minute. Remove your haunted pancakes and place them on a tray lined with greaseproof paper. Keep them warm in the oven while you finish cooking the rest of the batter.
In a bowl, mix custard, caramel flavouring, and a few drops of green food colour gel until it looks like swamp slime.
Spread the custard between your pancakes and stack alternating the colour. Finish with a big dollop of green custard on top, then bring your stack to life with Halloween sprinkles. Your witches breakfast pancakes are ready to give hungry little ghouls a spooky start to their day!
