Baking a Cake

How to bake a light and fluffy cake.

If you are baking a cake, don't leave the batter for too long in the tin before placing it in the oven to bake as the air in the bubbles will escape from the batter. The sooner you place the cake batter in the oven, the quicker you are sealing the air bubbles that give your cake its light and fluffy texture.
